Formula Fine-Tuning
We've been hard at work experimenting with different chalk blends, and after careful consideration and your valuable feedback, we're making some awesome changes to our chalk formulas.
First things first, let's talk about our Kickstarter campaign. We wanted to minimize waste, so we used all the packaging we had, including prototypes and test prints. We apologize if this caused any confusion. Even though the packaging didn't always mention it, both our Chunky and Smooth Chalk in the Kickstarter test run contained the magic ingredient, Upsalite®.
But here's the scoop for the future: we're going to focus on the Smooth Chalk and use Upsalite® exclusively in that formula. We've also heard your feedback on the chalk and realized that some of the Chunky Chalk was a bit TOO chunky, while the Smooth Chalk was almost TOO smooth. We're all about finding that perfect balance, so we're making some adjustments.
In the upcoming batches, our Chunky Chalk will be a little less chunky, and the Smooth Chalk will be a touch less smooth. Don't worry, though! The Smooth Chalk will still contain Upsalite®, giving you that incredible grip you know and love. Chunky Chalk, on the other hand, will not have Upsalite® in its formula.
Oh, and did we mention? We're introducing a new package size for the chunky chalk: 200g! More chalk to fuel your climbing adventures.
But wait, there's more! We want to make it super easy for you to compare the chunky and smooth chalk feeling. That's why we're creating a special sample pack just for fans like you. The sample pack will include small samples of both chunky chalk and smooth chalk, along with a tin of our beloved repair balm. Get ready to discover your favourite chalk blend!
