I always use it as a baselayer. On top I use a combination out of a mix of 1/3 Smooth Chalk and 2/3 Chunky Chalk. This works best for me.

I did several tests. One of them was the circuits on the spray wall. As I climbed, I looked at my toes until my bellies started to shine through. Other magnesium different brands 9 moves. CHALK CREAM - LIQUID 16 movements. SMOOTH CHALK - POWDER WITH UPSALITE® - 24 movements. MAGIC - incredible 41 moves. There is probably nothing to add to this. I have several reviews from satisfied friends. Everyone I gave MAGIC to try bought it right away. For those who sweat extremely, this is a complete game changer. They suddenly feel like they're cheating :)

Not my favorite for climbing, I think my hands are just too sweaty, but I like it a lot for my hangboard sessions. I generally prefer fine chalk powder, but this works well for more static excercises and is less messy. Perf for home boards. + It dries SUPER fast

I never go climbing without taking this liquid chalk! It is so much better than any other brand I’ve tried.
While most liquid chalks strive to be a base layer that lasts, I find Magic Chalk is all you actually need.
I often just go through a session using only it.
It’s so long lasting thanks to the upsalite, and it doesn’t have that alcohol smell that is often present, and best of all, it’s ethically made!
If you want to have only liquid chalk, then this is the product for that, or it works perfectly as a base too.

I've been using Magic Chalk for a few months now and it's really helped me improve my grip on the bouldering wall. It dries quickly and I feel like I’m cheating when I climb, it’s that good.
