Verein Nachhaltige Kletterkultur is a group of passionate climbers dedicated to exploring sustainability in the climbing community. They share insights from their collaborations with companies, climbing gyms, and inspiring individuals to promote a more eco-friendly approach to the sport.

We’re thrilled to share that Verein Nachhaltige Kletterkultur recently featured Chalk Rebels in an interview, where we discussed our journey, mission, and sustainability efforts.

In the interview, we discussed how Chalk Rebels started during the COVID pandemic out of frustration with the lack of high-quality liquid chalk on the market. Since then, we’ve grown into a brand focused on sustainability, using a unique seawater-based process to produce cleaner, eco-friendly chalk. We also touched on our commitment to reducing climbers’ environmental impact by encouraging the use of less chalk, but better-performing chalk.

Another key topic was our collaboration with various European manufacturers to ensure our products meet the highest standards. We also shared how we plant one tree for every product sold through our website, as part of our commitment to 1% for the Planet.

Finally, we highlighted the innovative Upsalite® chalk, which doubles performance with less chalk use and helps climbers keep their hands drier for longer. This, along with our sustainability efforts, makes Chalk Rebels stand out in the climbing community.
