250 Trees Planted

"Society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they shall never sit in." That's a nice thought to get the weekend started. A big THANK YOU to all of our followers who helped us reach our tree planting goal in March. Thanks @fs.fabiosilva for contributing the picture!⠀

We decided to add an extra layer of transparency to our tree planting efforts: all tree certificates purchases from @onetreeplanted are available on our website... We went one step further and published the actual certificates as immutable NFTs on the ETC blockchain. Crypto nerds will understand ;-)

I'm probably going to post an in-depth blog post about the crypto stuff soon. You may have heard that blockchain tech and NFT's in particular can be very damaging to the environment but we've found a neat little hack that allowed us to publish on the blockchain with minimal environmental damage.
