I always use it as a baselayer. On top I use a combination out of a mix of 1/3 Smooth Chalk and 2/3 Chunky Chalk. This works best for me.

Not my favorite for climbing, I think my hands are just too sweaty, but I like it a lot for my hangboard sessions. I generally prefer fine chalk powder, but this works well for more static excercises and is less messy. Perf for home boards. + It dries SUPER fast

I never go climbing without taking this liquid chalk! It is so much better than any other brand I’ve tried.
While most liquid chalks strive to be a base layer that lasts, I find Magic Chalk is all you actually need.
I often just go through a session using only it.
It’s so long lasting thanks to the upsalite, and it doesn’t have that alcohol smell that is often present, and best of all, it’s ethically made!
If you want to have only liquid chalk, then this is the product for that, or it works perfectly as a base too.
